Chloe Boomer, 18, from Lisburn recently finished A levels at Friends' School Lisburn. She is a keen athlete and belongs to Lagan Valley AC.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Relaxing, when I'm not training I just like to be lazy and sleep a lot.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and
why?
Double chicken breast pitta (mango and lime) with chips from Nandos, it
has become a regular eating spot for our strength and conditioning g
group.
What has been your proudest moment?
Being a part of the Irish u17 4x100m Relay team that won gold in the
2009 Schools International Championships.
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
When my dad and I were in a car accident last year, the night before my
first ever driving lesson.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
Pretty normal, I tend to dress for comfort.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Buy myself an awesome car and a wardrobe full of just shoes and take
care of my family.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
I don't embarrass easily, I just get on with it.
What music do you like?
I like most things; I'm not picky when it comes to music.
What sports person do you most admire?
Asafa Powell. He has been a bit overshadowed by Bolt recently but he was
fastest man in the world when I became interested in athletics.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
Our last family holiday to Seefeld, Austria. We went to the same hotel
for 8 years in a row for a walking holiday; we enjoyed the beautiful
country and food.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To graduate from university as a physiotherapist and to make a senior
relay team for an international meeting.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
The Stig, a day of racing fast cars round the top gear track would be
class.
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you
want with you?
ipod with an undrainable battery, my bed, my dog Poppy
