SHANNON Orr, 17, from Lambeg, has made it through to the grand final of the the Face of Northern Ireland 2012 and is looking forward to the final which will take place later this summer in the Canal Court Hotel in Newry. She is training to be a beauty therapist.
What do you like doing on your day off?
Shopping and relaxing with my boyfriend or family.
If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and
why?
It would have to be any meal from Robbie Cahoons restaurant in Lambeg as
every meal tastes as good.
What has been your proudest moment?
Making it to the grand final of the beauty pageant 'Face of Northern
Ireland'
What was the most frightening moment of your life?
The most frightening moment of my life would have been when I fell off
my horse about a year ago.
How would you describe your taste in clothes?
It depends on what way I feel, but usually girly.
What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I would possibly buy a small island or move to somewhere warm, I would
also give some of it to my granda Jim McClelland's charity work in
Ethiopia who with the help of his church has built a school, church and
medical clinic and feed 650 children every week in a village in
Ethiopia.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
It would be sending a text to the wrong person.
What music do you like?
Most types of music, it depends what mood I'm in but i would usually
listen to hip-hop or pop.
What sports person do you most admire?
Steven Gerrard who plays for Liverpool.
Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
My best holiday was recently this year to Benidorm. My dream holiday
would be to the Bahamas, Jamaica or Mexico with my boyfriend.
What is your greatest remaining ambition?
It would be to win the current beauty competition I'm in and represent
my country in the face of Europe.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
Definitely Nicki Minaj or Rihanna
If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you
want with you?
My dog Charlie, my mobile and a small boat to travel home.
