Did you know we old folk are worth a fortune.? We have silver in our hair, gold in our teeth, stones in our kidneys, lead in our feet & gas in our stomachs.
Frankly, I have become a frivolous old woman!. I am seeing six gentlemen each day. As soon as I wake, Will Power gets me out of bed then I go to see Jimmy Ridlle, then it's time for breakfast with Mr. Kelloggs, followed closely by the refreshing company of Mr Tetley or my other friend who I know only by his initials. P.G.
Then comes someone I don't like at all - Arthur Ritis! He knows he is not welcome, but insists on being there, and what's more, he stays all day. Even he does not like to stay in one place, so he takes me from joint to joint. After such a hectic day, I am glad to get to bed (and with Johnny Walker too) - what a hectic life. Oh yes, I am also flirting with Al Zeimer.
The priest came to call & told me that at my age I should be thinking of the hereafter, so I told him I did - all the time. No matter where I am - bedroom, kitchen, sitting room or garden - I always ask myself, "Now, what am I here after?.
I'll close but I hope Will Power is your constant companion, but do make sure his friend, Emma Royd, does not creep up from behind and do watch out for the crafty one - Gerry Artric!
